Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American journalist. She is the host of SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. Her mother is the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by the time she turned nine. This ability that helped her get her first role as an Univision producer assistant Miami. There, she collaborated with producers for national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. After this, she was hired by the CBS subsidiary in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. She moved into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Antonietta was a senior in high school but she knew exactly what career path she wanted to pursue. So while assessing if Mount Union is the right choice for her, Antonietta visited the university. As it turned out she loved the school and that they had the kind of program she was searching for. She completed her schooling and was admitted to the university with a degree studying media and communication studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a member of her class, formed an ongoing relationship with her. The professor encouraged her to have self-confidence and was deeply touched by his love of journalism.
